Our Team
Craig Kutac
Prior to starting with Griesenbeck in 2017, Craig had worked with general contractors in Houston as a Project Manager. When he picked up the project management mantel here, his passion for the built environment continued to shine through. "I've always been fascinated by how things are built. From taking apart and reassembling toys as a kid, to being intrigued driving by active construction sites around town."
Craig was selected to serve as the Director of Project Management in 2022 and has been a part of several milestone projects with the team. When asked which project he's most proud of, Craig responds, "Post HTX. As a Houston native, it was a privilege to assist transforming a historic post office into the unique mixed-use space it is today. It’s also pretty cool to be able to take the family there and walk on the largest rooftop park in Texas (and stand on over 10’ diameter walkable glass skylights)."
Craig has some wisdom to share as he approaches his 20-year mark in the industry: "Embrace the problem. Whether it be problem prevention or problem solving, in construction there are always going to be some form of ‘problem’. Our job as a subcontractor is to flush out and prevent or solve problems as soon as possible."

Q & A
If you weren't in construction, what would you be doing instead?
"Never shied away from gathering all the facts or from having a healthy argument... so I guess lawyer!"
Q & A

"Trust but verify."
