Our Team
Dustin Adler
Dustin joined Griesenbeck in 2015 and has been a hands-on resource for the architectural community ever since. His favorite project thus far is a Houston institution.
"One project that still stands out—and really inspired me early in my career as an Architectural Consultant—was The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. I was still relatively new at Griesenbeck, but they trusted me to develop design solutions for several complex McKeon fire shutters with egress. It was also my first real deep dive into the Building Code. At the time, I had no idea how often I’d find myself navigating Life Safety requirements, a topic that had barely been touched on in architecture school."
Q & A
What tool would you take with you to a deserted island?
"A large knife for hunting, cutting, chopping, fabrication and protection (if I could use a cheat code, then I would definitely go with Mary Poppins’ bag)."
Q & A
What's your go-to snack during long meetings?
"Any kind of sweet and tart chewable candy."
Q & A
How would you describe Griesenbeck's culture to someone new?
"At Griesenbeck, we value a family-like atmosphere where divisions work hand in hand, supporting each other and staying true to the company’s morals and values."
"Be the first to educate!"
