Griesenbeck Architectural Products Recognized at ABC of Greater Houston’s 2021 Excellence in Construction Awards
HOUSTON, TX - December 21, 2021 –
Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Houston (ABC) recently recognized Griesenbeck Architectural Products at the 21st annual Excellence in Construction Awards (EIC), which showcased fifty-three projects built by ABC Greater Houston members. This event, established in 2000, recognizes outstanding projects in the commercial and industrial construction industry. ABC members are renowned for their dedication to safety and excellence in the construction field, and this awards program demonstrates that commitment.
Categories included general contractor and specialty contractor projects, and the selected projects excelled in safety, quality, ingenuity, and workmanship. With twenty-three categories, the selected entries are considered among the best of merit shop construction.
Griesenbeck earned the top honor in the Other Specialty Construction - Commercial Project over $1 Million Category for its contributions to Post HTX, the distinctive renovation of the former Barbara Jordan Post Office downtown into a multi-use destination for Houstonians. Griesenbeck provided an array of interior specialty products to the landmark project. The team provided design assistance and sourced and installed the largest single piece walkable skylights ever completed in the United States. Achieving this feat is a testament to Griesenbeck’s focus on providing unparalleled customer service in offering turn-key architectural product solutions from design to installation.
Griesenbeck is honored to receive this award. It is indicative of the team’s commitment to driving innovation and building the future of Houston.
