University of Houston – Victoria Clock Tower Posted in: Exteriors - The City of Victoria and University of Houston – Victoria (“UHV”) partnered to redesign Ben Wilson Street, the main access road to the expanding campus, to increase walkability and safety while providing an energy-efficient, prominent focal point for the community. McKEON Shutter at Lamar Institute of Technology Lamar Institute of Technology Workforce & Allied Health Training Center Posted in: Open Space Design - In 2022, the Lamar Institute of Technology announced plans to build a three-story, 52,000 SF building dedicated to expanding and enhancing its healthcare and career education programs. The Workforce and Allied Health Training Center provides new spaces for students, and fire shutters were needed to preserve open space design. Read More

Meow Wolf Radio Tave Posted in: Daylighting - Meow Wolf - self-described as “five exhibitions; one multiverse” - offers immersive art adventures at each of their installations across the United States. The Houston theme offers guests an opportunity to imagine that a radio station has been transported to another dimension, and the design team added tubular daylights to give light to the space without adding thermal load. Berry Center Posted in: Daylighting - The Richard E. Berry Educational Support Center opened in May 2006 to meet the community’s need for a multi-purpose center. The intent was to provide a center that could host graduations, sporting events, training sessions for students and staff, and food distribution operations. Mickey Leland International Terminal Posted in: Open Space Design - As part of ongoing efforts to tackle much-needed improvements at IAH, the Houston Airport System updated the original Mickey Leland International Terminal which opened in 1990 and now serves almost 2.5M passengers annually.
