The intent was to provide a center that could host graduations, sporting events, training sessions for students and staff, and food distribution operations. After nearly 20 years of use, the existing skylight needed to be replaced.
The renovation of the former Barbara Jordan Post Office in Houston faced challenges daylighting the southern quadrant due to historical building code restrictions.
